Qixian is located in the Taiyuan Basin in the center of Shanxi Province, and Qixian has an incoming sound, which belongs to the Jin language.

Qixian language inside the Changyuan River as the boundary is divided into two pieces, the southwestern part of the Changyuan River for a large area, represented by the county town of the words; Changyuan River for a small piece of the northeastern part of the East Guanzhen, Jialingzhen words as a representative. A large part of the "child" tail less, a small part of the "child" tail a lot.
