1. Mung beans, container with holes, absorbent and breathable cloth.
2. Prepare beans, preferably new beans of the year, as old beans have a low germination rate; soak the beans in a bowl with room temperature/warm water for 12 hours.
3. Drain the soaked beans, find a container with holes (I use a steamer), put a light and breathable cloth under the container, and spread the beans evenly on the on the container.
4. After laying it out, cover the beans with a relatively thick layer of absorbent and breathable cloth (it can be an unused towel - washed).
5. Place the container in a dark place (out of light), take it out and water it under tap water every day, drain it, and continue to place it in a dark place for 4-5 days.
After about 6 or 5 days, take out the container, remove the upper cloth, and take out the bean sprouts. If you don’t like to eat the roots, you can cut off the roots and you can make delicious bean sprouts.
