Shannai, also known as Shajiang, Sannai. KaempferiagalangaLINN zingiberaceae. It has the functions of warming middle warmer, dispelling cold, resolving turbidity, promoting qi circulation, reducing swelling and relieving pain.

Kaempferol has anticancer, fertility inhibiting, antiepileptic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antispasmodic, anti-ulcer, cholagogic diuretic and cough relieving effects. Kaempferol is slightly soluble in water, but soluble in hot ethanol, ether and alkali. Kaempferol belongs to flavonol, with yellow needle crystal.
