Plant morphology ① Schisandra pterygophylla, also known as Schisandra Emei.
Climbing shrubs. Simple leaves alternate, semi-leathery; Broadly ovoid or nearly round, 9 ~11cm long and 5 ~ 8 cm wide, with a pointed or short pointed tail at the apex, a wedge-shaped or round base and sparse teeth at the edge; The top is green, covered with a little white powder, and the bottom is light green with thick white powder; Petiole is red, covered with white powder, 2.5 ~ 5 cm long. Flowers are unisexual and dioecious. Male flowers are solitary in the axils of leaves, with a diameter of about 1.5 cm, white, slender pedicels, 4-5 cm long, and tiny bracts at the base 1 piece; Sepals 3, round, slightly equal in size, pale green or yellowish green; Petals 3, like sepals; Stamens are numerous, anthers are white and introverted. Climbing shrubs, about 5 meters long. Branchlets cylindrical, reddish brown, glabrous. The leaves are oval or obovate, 6-9 cm long and 3-6 cm wide, with a tapering apex and a wedge-shaped base, pale and hairless below. The flowers are solitary in the axils of leaves, yellow-green, with a diameter of about 1.5 cm. Stamens10 ~15, anthers cuneate-obovate, apex slightly concave or truncated. The fruit is red, ovoid, and 6 ~ 9 mm long.
Distributed in Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Henan, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hubei, Sichuan, Yunnan, Guangxi and other places.
