Cut the longan with a rod and pick out the bad ones. Wash away the dust on the surface of longan. Don't use too much force when washing. It's best to rinse with water. Bring the water to a boil and add the longan for 1-2 minutes to sterilize and facilitate sun-drying. Let the longan cool before drying it in the sun. Cover it with gauze to prevent dust and dry it in the sun for about 3-4 days until the longan is dry. Pack it in a plastic bag and store it in a cool place.
