What methods did ancient people use to make cocoons?

In ancient times, people used the following methods to cocoon silkworms:

1, handle the cocoon and gently tear off some stones on the cocoon by hand;

2. Prepare boiled water, and throw all the cocoons into the boiled water;

3. Take a small broom and stir it vigorously in the pot;

4. Find the head of the silk thread and wind it on the winding board. The silk thread can then be wound;

5. The extracted silk thread can be directly used for silk weaving.
