Ferula is divided into fragrant Ferula and Ferula, among which Ferula has medicinal value. Ferula gum used in China in the past is made up of Iranian population. By 1950s, two kinds of Ferula Sinkiangensis were found to be used as medicine among 20 kinds of Ferula Sinkiangensis in the national survey of Chinese herbal medicines. Ferula Sinkiangensis is only distributed in Baishidun area of Yili, with an area of 65,438 0.5 ~ 20,000 mu and a high density. Ferula Fukang is only distributed in Fukang. Two kinds of medicinal Ferula Ferulae were included in the National Pharmacopoeia, with an annual output of 5,000 kilograms of Ferula gum, ending the history of importing Ferula gum from Iran.
