"Bang" means "country", that is, after success, Liu Bangcai took the name "Bang" by himself, and it is impossible to verify whether it came into being when Hanwang or after the throne.

At that time, ordinary civilians had only surnames but no names. Because they are just ordinary farmers and come from humble origins, it is impossible for the Liu family to have a name. The squire in Historical Records is "Grandpa Liu" and Liu Wei is "Mom Liu", which is obviously not a decent or interesting title.

Liu Bang's word "Ji" is not a real word. In the order of ranking, China ancient brothers were called Bo, Zhong, Shu and Ji. The eldest brother is called Bo, the second is called Zhong, the third is called Uncle, and the fourth is called Ji. Season is a nickname.

According to historical records, Liu Bang's eldest brother is indeed called Liu Bo, his second brother is also called Liu Zhong, and Liu Bang, the fourth oldest, has been called Liu Ji since childhood, which is not a meaningful word.

Interestingly, in Historical Records and Hanshu, the word "bang" is not found in all the words, which shows that it is indeed taboo, but the word "season" is not taboo. That is to say, "bang" is indeed the name of Liu Bang, but the season is only the representative of the ranking, and it has no meaning in itself.
