Located on the mountainside of Dapeng in the north of tianquan county, Sichuan Province, the county center is about 1.5 km. At present, there are four major halls: the Heavenly King Hall, the Ursa Major Hall, the Guanyin Hall and the Buddha Hall. This temple is built on the hill.
Cilang Temple is built on the mountain, and a big archway stands at the foot of the mountain. Standing at the archway, you can vaguely see the temple gate in the middle of the mountain and Cilang Temple in three Chinese characters. Beyond the gate is Tianwang Temple, where Maitreya is enshrined on the front.
There is a pavilion on the left and right of the Tianwang Temple, with drums hanging in the left pavilion and clocks hanging in the right pavilion. Walking through the Heavenly King Hall and climbing the stairs, there is the magnificent Mahayana Hall, which is dedicated to Sakyamuni Buddha. On the right side of Daxiong Hall is the Military Attaché Hall. Walking up the steps from the back of Daxiong Hall is Guanyin Hall, and to the right of Guanyin Hall is Buddhist Temple.
Tourist attraction
The bell tower and drum tower of Cilang Temple were originally built. In the morning, the bell rings around and can be heard within ten miles. Villagers often use bells to measure sunny days and rainy days and understand agriculture. In case of war, ring the alarm to prevent the soldiers from dying. It's called "Kindness, Xiao Lang Bell".
