1. Cage capture
This method can be used for all species except loaches that go dormant in the winter. Generally, eel cages or eel cages are used for catching. When the water temperature is 18-30℃, stop eating for one day before fishing. First put delicious and fragrant bait balls in the cage, such as fried rice bran, wheat bran, etc., put the cage at the bottom of the pond, and after 1 hour, first close the mouth of the bag, pull up the cage, and then untie the tail of the bag to harvest. once. You can also place the cage cloth at the water inlet. When the water enters, the water flow will impact and form a water flow around the cage mouth. The loach will enter the cage upstream and be captured.
2. Pull net fishing
During the peak feeding season for loaches, you can use a pull net that catches domestic fish fry and fingerlings, or a specially woven pull net to catch loaches. Before operation, first clear the obstacles in the water, and then make the fragrant bait into a ball-shaped hard bait and put it into the feeding ground as bait. When the loach feeds in the feeding ground, lower the net and close it quickly, so that the catch rate is high.
3. Loach bag capture
This method is mostly used in rice fields. On a sunny day, first drain the water in the fish slides and ditches in the rice fields, then slowly pour the water back into the fish slides and ditches in the evening, and put the loach bag into the fish slides at the same time. Put some leaves, aquatic plants, etc. in the bag, and put in bait, and the loach will look for food in the bag and you can catch it.
4. Catching in dry ponds
It is usually done in the autumn when loaches eat less food and have not drilled mud for the winter, or when there are still some remaining loaches to catch and culture using the above methods. , using this method. If there is a small amount of loach left in the dry pond, you can find the hole left by the loach in the mud and dig up the soil to catch the loach. The hole that the loach drills into the mud is round or oval, and the diameter of the hole is generally 1 to 2 cm; the depth of the hole varies with the size of the loach, the thickness of the mud, and the water temperature.
