Where is Eupatorium odoratum mainly distributed?
Eupatorium odoratum alias: Pulsatilla, Eupatorium adenophorum, Shan Lan; Eupatorium odoratum is mainly distributed in China, South Korea and Japan. In China, it is distributed in Northeast, East, South and Southwest China. Eupatorium odoratum is a wild green manure plant, which is widely distributed in Hainan and Leizhou Peninsula. It is widely mowed by local people and used as base fertilizer for rice or sweet potato. Because the leaves are tender and rich in water, the stem bark is brittle and thin with few fibers, and the inner pulp is cotton wool-like, it is easy to decompose and rot when used as green manure. It can be directly used as base fertilizer in paddy field or dry land, and can also be used as topdressing after composting or soaking, with good effect.
