1, garlic seed selection
Before hydroponics, garlic should choose seeds that are not damaged by pests and diseases. After selection, you can peel it or not. Be extra careful when peeling garlic, so as not to hurt it, or it may get moldy.
2. Start hydroponics.
After selecting garlic seeds, prepare suitable hydroponic containers, such as plates, cups, large bowls, plastic pots, etc., and clean and disinfect them. Then put the garlic seeds into a container with the bottom facing down, and finally add a proper amount of clear water, and the water amount is controlled at the place where 1/2 submerges the garlic.
3. Post maintenance
In the process of garlic hydroponics, the temperature should be controlled at about 10-25℃. At the initial stage of garlic seed growth, there is no need to change water, just add new water appropriately. After garlic seeds take root, it is necessary to change water once every 1-2 days to keep the water quality clean so as not to reduce the emergence rate.
4. Preventive measures
In the process of garlic hydroponics, it is best not to add nutrient solution to avoid garlic stinking and changing water frequently. In terms of light, garlic should be placed in a sunny place outdoors, which is conducive to the green and delicious garlic seedlings. When harvesting, cut off garlic leaves and keep garlic cloves to continue growing.
