The town of Monas, an oasis in the Sahara Desert, was showing the film "Transatlantic" in a movie theater one summer morning in 1975. Suddenly, the movie theater went dark, and a power outage confused the audience.

Suddenly, a group of youths rushed in from outside, shouting, "Come and see! There's a monster in the sky!" In the sky, a shuttle-shaped flying object hovered, gray, but with a metallic luster, and suddenly, its tail spewed out a white smoke, followed by six small flying saucers in the shape of identical straw hats, which flew off to the northwest in unison. A few minutes later, they caught up with the mother ship again, and drilled through its tail, and the mother ship started up and was gone in a flash.

Later it became clear that it wasn't just the movie theater that was out of power, but any electrical appliance in the town was out of power, even the hospital operating room, which was never electrified.
