Quality identification

Both alkaline hair and enzymatic hair are used in the production of beef omasum, but the production technology is not unified and standardized, and the product quality is uneven: some producers illegally add additives such as formaldehyde and hydrogen peroxide or use industrial-grade alkali for water hair, which causes food safety problems.

Pay attention to when buying hairy belly, especially white hairy belly will turn white after being soaked in hydrogen peroxide and formaldehyde for three or four days. When making water-borne products, some unscrupulous traders first soak them in industrial caustic soda to increase their volume and weight, and then add formaldehyde and hydrogen peroxide in proportion to stabilize their volume and weight and keep their surfaces fresh and bright.
