The movie White Swan Love tells the story of a lesbian couple living in New York City who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to be openly identified in society, and who face various pressures and challenges in order to fight for their happiness with each other. One of the female leads is a ballet dancer, and her profession however becomes a way of discipline and problem solving between them. Although the plot of the movie tells the story of the relationship between the two women, it explores more y the meaning of love, freedom and equality as well as the social issues of sexism and multiple sexual orientations.
The film has reaped a number of awards at international film festivals and has been praised and recognized by viewers and critics alike, helping to enhance understanding and respect for multiculturalism and gender diversity. Swans are herd animals, and when they grow up, they fall in love and get married, just like people.
They practice true monogamy. Once a swan has a mate, whether it's foraging for food and water, or incubating and raising children, they will always be in pairs, and will never be separated in their lives, and will remain faithful. If one party dies, the other party will "keep the festival", no longer looking for a spouse, until death. What's more, if one party dies, the other party will immediately go on a hunger strike to follow them. A pair of pairs of white swans, this is how to wait for each other, mutual help, from one to the end.
