When the chicken feed is mixed with the intestines and bones of Monopterus albus, the chicken is fed with bread worms, or bread worms and chicken feed softened and kneaded into balls. Feeding more insects, small fish, shrimp and shell powder is helpful to molt, and it is a good way to wrap shrimp with Lycium barbarum powder.
For fledgling birds, feed 2 to 3 breadworms to each bird first, then feed them every 1 or 2 hours, and then rest. After tonight, they may talk. If not, feed them tomorrow. The feed can be bread worm and chicken feed, which is softened and kneaded into small balls. It is estimated that it will open in two or three days.

Breeding mode
The breeding season is from March to July. Nests are usually built on the banks of river valleys and streams, and most of them are placed in hanging caves, depressions under rocks or soil ridges on the banks, and some are placed in the last gaps between rocks and tree holes on the banks. The nest is cup-shaped or bowl-shaped, which is usually well concealed and not easy to be found.
The nest is mainly composed of hay stems, hay leaves, grass roots, fine dead branches, leaves, mosses, lichens and other materials, padded with fine grass stems and grass roots, and sometimes padded with wool, fibers and feathers.
Female birds mainly build nests, while male birds only occasionally participate in nesting activities. Each nest lays 3-6 eggs, mostly 4-5 eggs. Eggs are oval or rectangular, white or yellowish white, and some are light green or blue-green, with brown or light ochre spots.
