He Shenghe, a famous triad organization in Hong Kong, is also the oldest and most active triad organization among the three major gangs in Hong Kong. He Shenghe originally belonged to the "He Zitou" faction (Hutchison) founded in the mid-to-late 19th century. It split into an independent gang in 1930 and is currently the new mainstream of the "He Zitou" faction (Hutchison). In the 1980s and 1990s, He Shenghe had nearly 100,000 members, mainly operating in Hong Kong, Western Europe, the United States and other places. Currently, it is one of the three major triad organizations in Hong Kong along with Sun Ngee Ann and 14K.
