2. Choose a freshwater pond or shrimp pond with an area of 3-5 mu, a water depth of 1.5-2.5 m, sufficient fresh water sources, no pollution and sandy bottom.
3. One week before the shrimp fry are stocked, the shrimp fry are filtered with a 60-80 mesh screen, 30cm of water is injected, and 50kg of base fertilizer (fermented livestock manure) or 5kg of urea are applied per mu to cultivate the basic bait.

Generally speaking, when the water temperature is stable at 18-20℃ in late May, the young shrimp can be put into the shrimp pond, which needs to be desalinated for more than one week, and the specific gravity is less than 1.003. One month before stocking, the food was mainly obtained by plankton in the pond. 1 month later, feed bait and supplement fresh fish and shellfish.
5. After stocking 10 days, gradually replenish water and replenish 10- 15cm every week. Change the water for 20-30cm every 2-3 days in hot season. Pour 5- 10 kg of quicklime into the whole pond every half month or so, which not only improves the water quality and sediment, but also can sterilize and promote the shelled growth of shrimp.
