Breeding and site selection of Eriocheir sinensis 1 in Northeast China
Before raising crabs in Northeast China, choose ponds with quiet environment, long sunshine time, rich water resources and gentle slope. After cleaning and disinfecting the pond, use iron sheets as the surrounding escape wall. Before releasing seedlings, inject 50 cm deep water into the pond and plant plants that crabs like, such as Sophora alopecuroides and duckweed. At the same time, it can also be used as a shade place, with an area of about 40%.
2. Crab culture
Before stocking Eriocheir sinensis, healthy and agile crabs with similar specifications and sizes were selected, disinfected with 4% salt solution, and stocked in the pond according to the specifications of about 600 crabs per mu. The best stocking time is from late February to early March. When the weather is clear and the water temperature is high, the survival rate can be improved.
3. Feeding bait
Eriocheir sinensis is omnivorous. Can feed aquatic plants, wheat, bean cakes and other plant bait, or small snails, small fish and shrimp and other animal bait, once a day in the morning and evening. Not only aquatic plants can be planted in the pond, but also snails can be cultivated, and 200 kilograms of natural reproduction can be cultivated per mu, which can reduce the feeding cost and improve the yield and quality of Eriocheir sinensis.
4. Water quality management
Eriocheir sinensis requires high water quality. Clean water quality is beneficial to the growth and molting of Eriocheir sinensis, and it can also increase the delicacy. Change the water once every 5-7 days, and the amount of water changed each time is 25% of the pond. When it is hot in summer, water should be injected every three days to ensure the transparency of the crab pond over 40 cm, and the ph value is about 7.5.
