PNG pictures store a single raster image in any color depth, and it is a platform-independent format. PNG supports high-level lossless compression and alpha channel transparency. PNG supports gamma correction and interleaving.
Second, JPEG format
JPEG is lossy, using direct color and bitmap. The design goal of JPEG image format is to compress the file size as much as possible without affecting the quality of human-distinguishable images. This means that JPEG removes part of the original information of the picture, which means lossy compression.
The advantage of JPEG pictures is that they use direct colors. Thanks to richer colors, JPEG is very suitable for storing photos and expressing more vivid image effects, such as color gradient.
3. PDF format is an electronic publishing software used by Adobe for Windows, UNIX and DOS systems. Like Postseript pages, PDF can contain vector and bitmap graphics, as well as electronic document searching and navigation functions.
Iv. TIFF format
TIFF stores a single raster image at any color depth. TIFF can be considered as the most widely supported graphic file format in the printing industry. TIFF supports optional compression and is not suitable for viewing in a Web browser.
V. BMP format
The abbreviation of BitMap, which is lossless and supports both index color and direct color, is a bitmap. This is an old picture format. BMP is lossless, but at the same time, this picture format hardly compresses the data, so the pictures in BMP format usually have a large file size.
