Homemade hawthorn cake
Method 1:
Ingredients: 1 catty of hawthorn, 1 and a half of sugar, lotus root powder, sugar-osmanthus paste. Method: ① Remove the core of the hawthorn and beat it into hawthorn sauce in a blender; ② Put the hawthorn sauce into the pot, add water (the ratio of hawthorn to water is 1:1.5), heat and stir continuously;
③When the hawthorn sauce is heated to bubbling, add sugar. For 1 pound of hawthorn, add 1/2 portions of white sugar; ④When the sugar dissolves, add lotus root starch in order to increase coagulation; ⑤Before serving, add sugar Osmanthus sauce (no salty osmanthus sauce), stir; ⑥Put into a container and freeze in cold water to form.
Method 2:
Ingredients: 1 catty of hawthorn, 1 and half white sugar or rock sugar, 25 grams of agar. Method: ① Remove the core of the hawthorn and beat it into hawthorn paste in a blender;
② Add 25 grams of agar in warm water and soak it for 10 minutes, then put it into a blender and smash it. Then, add the agar to the pot of water and heat to dissolve;
③Put the stirred hawthorn paste into the agar in the pot to heat, and add rock sugar or white sugar, stir to dissolve; ④Put the mixed and heated hawthorn paste into the pot. Pour the agar and agar into a container and let cool.
Cut the prepared hawthorn cake into shreds, then add cucumber shreds, pear shreds, and white sugar as seasonings to make a sweet and delicious snack called "cantaloupe."
