What is the Japanese Golden Grain Meal
Golden Meal was a malicious rumor spread by netizens on the Internet in 2004, but in fact there is no such thing as Golden Meal. The rumor was dispelled when it read something along the lines of "Japan has a high-class food made from the feces of young girls," accompanied by an altered picture. But more people in China have only heard the rumor, and even some of those who have heard it have used it as a "powerful" fact to attack Japan.

Based on the current information about the "food", the Golden Meal, it can be concluded that this item is basically a myth.

Evidence 1:

The earliest known version of the Golden Meal was circulated around 2004, and was posted on a mainland webpage with text only and an unknown author. However, the version circulated in recent years has two more pictures, one of "Golden Grain Photo" and one of "Golden Grain Meal Price List". The photos seem to match the text, but after checking, we found that the photos are just a mix-up. Photo 1: Gold Grain Photo

In fact, this is a work by American artist Daniel Edwards called "SURI CRUISE'S FIRST POOP," inspired by the first poop of Tom Cruise's daughter, Shuri, after she was born. Some of the online rumors have slightly cropped the picture, and the part with the name of the work is cut out and rumored to be a golden meal picture.
