Sinew Grass
Alias: white-haired Xiaku Cao, blood-scattering grass, blood-breaking dan; perennial herb in the order Tubulifloraceae, family Labiatae, genus Sinew Grass, with an expanded, erect root and no stolons. Stem 4-angled, base slightly woody, purplish red or greenish purple, usually glabrous, young parts gray-white villous. About 40 species, native to Eurasia. Medicinal plant, has the effect of suppressing cough, expectorant, asthma and so on.
