Morphological characteristics: the umbrella is hemispherical, with a diameter of 250 ~ 450 mm and a maximum of more than 500 mm. The upper umbrella is smooth and protruding, with a thick rubber layer and eight notches on the edge. There are 14 ~ 20 segments between the two gaps. The lower umbrella is thin, with well-developed peripheral annular muscles and inward depression. There are eight wrists in the middle, and the umbrella is light blue when alive. The mouth and wrist are milky white and transparent.

Habitat and distribution Living in the sea and swimming. Distributed in the coastal areas of the county, especially Shuanghe, Daixi, Siping, Wanliang and other places.

Sexual taste and function are salty and flat. Clearing away heat and toxic materials, resolving phlegm and softening hard mass, lowering blood pressure, expelling wind and removing dampness, resolving food stagnation and moistening intestines.

Indications: Asthma, cough, lump accumulation, head wind, dry stool, leucorrhea, rheumatic joint pain, hypertension, ulcer and nameless swelling.
