According to a search of Baidu's encyclopedia, Gangnam-gu (Roman: Gangnam-gu) is an administrative district of Seoul, the capital of South Korea, located south of the Han River. The district is an important commercial area in Seoul. Sinsa, Yeoksam, Nunhyeon, and Samseong are home to the offices of many multinational corporations. Apgujeong is famous for its concentration of local high-fashion stores, and Nunghyeon-dong is home to a number of movie studios where the top tycoons of the Seoul area have settled. It is bordered by Songpa-gu on the east by the Tanchon River; Gangnam-dae-ro, which connects the southern part of Hannam Bridge and Hannam-dae-ro in Sinsa-dong with Yangjae-dong in Seocho-gu, is the boundary line between this district and Seocho-gu; on the south, it is neighboring Seocho-gu and Seongnam-si of Gyeonggi-do along the Nine Dragons Mountain and Dae-mo Mountain, while on the north, it is bordering Yongsan-san district and Seongdong-gu across the Han River.
