1. Microwave defrosting
Place the bacon on a microwave turntable lined with kitchen towels. Place a kitchen towel on the glass turntable in the microwave. If the turntable is large, lay out two paper towels to make sure the bottom of the plate is completely covered.
2. Thawing under running water
This method is relatively simple. Prepare a basin, then put the bacon in the basin and turn on the faucet. Add a certain amount of water to it until the whole bacon is dissolved. Once the meat is all submerged, keep changing the water in the basin. This will help the bacon thaw better and help preserve its freshness.
3. Thaw in cold water
If the bacon bag has been opened, put the bacon into a waterproof plastic bag. If the original packaging of the bacon has been opened or torn, you need to find a waterproof bag and put the bacon in it to prevent the food from being soaked in water or contaminated by bacteria.
