Hamster breeding: hamsters are afraid of heat in the external environment. Please use ventilated wire cages in summer or semi-iron and semi-plastic cages to keep warm in winter. All-plastic cages are more suitable for winter. Do not use barbed wire on the cage chassis, as rats and mice are prone to fracture and injury. You can use ordinary small containers for food basins, and it is best to choose ones that are not easy to knock over and whose edges are not too high. The general design of drinking fountains has stainless steel beads at the front end, so pay attention to test whether there is water leakage when buying. You can't hold water directly in a bowl, because hamsters will get wet when drinking water, which is easy to catch cold and get sick.
Hamster feeding: food, vegetables, carrots, spinach, cucumbers and cabbages are washed before feeding. Seeds like sunflower seeds, peanuts, walnuts and pine nuts are not good for hamsters because of their high calories. Just feed them once or twice a week.
Fruits such as apples and strawberries can also be fed. For a reasonable nutritional mix, you can also feed a little beef, chicken, boiled protein, bread worms, barley worms and so on. Don't feed some people something like chocolate.
Hamster breeding: sanitary, clean up food residues and rat feces in time, and change water frequently. Wash the food basin and water feeder every day, and clean the feeding cage1-2 times a month and disinfect it. Hamsters have the habit of storing food. Don't take away all their food, or hamsters will become anxious.
