The seedbed is first fully fertilized with decomposed base fertilizer, plowed and raked to make a flat bed with a width of1.3m, a length of10m and a ridge width of 20cm. Then each single bed is finely leveled. In spring, due to the low temperature, windy days and large amount of soil evaporation, the seed covering method should be adopted based on the principle of "giving priority to moisture conservation and minimizing watering times".
That is, firstly, the soil in the adjacent left and right borders is leveled out to a thickness of 1 cm, and piled in the middle border, and then leveled and watered. Remember not to water the middle border of the pile cover soil. People stand in the mound to sow seeds, and then spread the soil thickness 1 cm with a shovel. The next day, cover the soil in the furrow with a thickness of 1 cm, or pile it in the adjacent sown furrow, then water and sow the seeds, then return the soil to the original furrow to cover the seeds, and shovel all the furrows with an iron rake once every 2-3 days to prevent uneven soil thickness.
Sowing by covering soil is divided into two times, the first sowing is 2/3, and the rest 1/3 is sown for the second time. Because the bottom water is poured enough, the border surface is covered with 1 cm thick cover soil, and the upper part is not hardened, so the soil deficiency increases the temperature quickly and the soil moisture is well preserved. As long as the bottom water is poured enough, the seedlings can be planted together without watering in the middle.
