Also known as "Plum White Fish", it is a specialty from Chihe Town of Dingyuan County to Shi Mei Township of Fengyang County. Mei market is located at the junction of Dingyuan, Fengyang and Jiashan counties. Known as "Mei City" because of the traditional fair trade, it is also famous for "Sanmei" (Mei surname, Mei River and Mei fish). Plum fish, the smallest inches, the greatest satisfaction, bright eyes, small and flat head, white and tender color. Especially in Huangmei season, plum fish caught from the water will flow out of the scales like milk, and the fish is delicious. It is said that plum fish is a tribute of the Ming Dynasty.
