Tools/materials: bamboo 1 root, bamboo leaves 1 piece, knife 1 handle.
1, ready to make materials
First, choose a pillar in the bamboo forest, find the thinner part at the top of the pillar, and then cut it down. Be sure to bring bamboo leaves.
2. Cut a piece of bamboo
Select a section with an outer diameter of 8- 12mm from the bamboo just cut, and use a saw or a sharp knife to cut down the section with a length of about 10- 15cm. Note that there should be no knots in the middle of this cut bamboo.
3. One end of bamboo is flattened.
Use a sharp knife to flatten and trim one end of the bamboo, and be careful not to use too much force in the process of cutting, which may cause the bamboo to break, and once the bamboo breaks, the production will fail.
4. One end of the bamboo is sharpened
Then the other end of the bamboo is sharpened, and the whole bamboo is cut into an inclined plane, and the uppermost angle of the inclined plane is about 30 degrees as aesthetics. Be careful when cutting, you can neither cut your hands nor break the bamboo.
5. Open at one end of the inclined plane.
Cut a hole in the lower part of the inclined plane with a knife, and the depth of the hole is about 10- 12mm.
6. Preparation and production of bamboo leaves
Take a bamboo leaf with a flat surface and no curl, and cut one end of the bamboo leaf flat with a knife.
7. Insert bamboo leaves into the opening.
Insert the bamboo leaves whose one end has just been cut flat into the opening of the inclined plane. When inserting, use the thumb and forefinger of the left and right hands to hold the two ends of the cut bamboo leaves, and then gently pull them down until they are inserted into the depth of 6-8 mm.
8. Tear off the bamboo leaves along the outer edge of the inclined plane.
Hold the bamboo in your right hand, hold the inserted bamboo leaves in your left hand, and pull the bamboo leaves in the opposite direction of the bamboo slope, so that a part of the bamboo leaves can remain on the bamboo along the outer edge of the slope. Pay attention to force evenly in the process of tearing, otherwise the bamboo leaves will be easily pulled out of the bamboo or torn, so they cannot be used.
9. How to use it
After the above eight steps, you can successfully make a bamboo whistle, then put the end with bamboo leaves in your mouth, and then blow the whistle gently and forcefully, and the whistle will make a sound.
