1 Product differentiation
Lean Startup is an entrepreneurial treasure trove that is highly respected in Silicon Valley. The essence of it is how to be user-centric, identify user pain points, provide solutions, and validate them.
Corresponding to the individual is that you first have to find out what needs the customers you serve actually have, what is different about yourself, and what you can do better than others to solve the customer's pain points in order to sell yourself successfully.

So how do you design that label?
If you work for a branded company, of course the easiest way is to use the company name + position, for example, I would introduce myself as the head of entrepreneurship education at **Company.
Because our company is a listed financial company, the brand is well recognized in the field. It's just me and a few colleagues who do entrepreneurship education programs, and that label is clear internally and externally.
But if your position in the company has a lot of people, such as our company's financial advisers, there are hundreds of them, so what to do, this time you have to give your position before the qualifier, such as "service hundreds of millions of assets customer investment adviser", "family customer investment adviser "
This is the first time I've ever seen a company that has a unique ability to differentiate itself from the rest of the world.
2 Verify the value of the product
Performing a good personal labeling does not mean that the product has a brand.
The product you offer must be validated by the market, otherwise customers will have to return it when they realize it's not the right product.
If customers find that the products you offer are just OK or average, then you are also facing a crisis, but sometimes you do not know in time, and your company's brand in the minds of customers will not naturally occupy an important position.
How can you get validated quickly? Of course, it is in the process of serving the market to constantly get feedback and understand the user's opinion of the product.
All companies love it when their vendors service them on a regular basis, asking for timely opinions on how the product is being used.
It's interesting that we ourselves, as products, rarely ask the people we serve, such as our direct supervisors.
In fact, the smartest thing to do is, of course, to take the initiative to communicate regularly with your direct boss, that is, the direct user of you as a product, and to ask him what he thinks of you, and what other requirements and expectations he has.
This way you can have a clear understanding and make sure that the value you provide with this product is what your customers need. It will also leave your customers with a lasting impression of you as a brand because you care about the user experience and you are serious about your customers.
It's even better if you go above and beyond what your customers need, which means there's a big market for your product.
3 Product Iteration
Another core element of the Lean Startup is that it doesn't seek to satisfy customer needs all at once, but rather adjusts as quickly as possible based on market feedback, and continues to flesh out the product through iteration after iteration. It is the same with personal products, when you get market feedback, you need to consciously improve yourself, iterate quickly, add relevant knowledge, and improve relevant skills to meet the new needs of customers.

4 Product Positioning
In the early days of a startup, the product positioning is usually not so clear, because it is the process of testing the market, and a lot of companies are slowly finding their way after constant trial and error.
Airbnb wasn't at all what it is now in its early days. In the early days, the two founders put three airbeds in their rented apartment because they couldn't afford to pay the rent, and offered backpackers the service of renting out beds and breakfasts. At that time, they even had a very primitive name for the company, which was airbednandbreakfast, or airbed and breakfast.
Though they did take some orders in the early days, it was hard to feed the company, and later they sold cereals to survive.
It was almost two years later, in 2009, that they really found a niche for their company, ****enjoying housing. They found that travelers didn't just want cheap bed and breakfasts, they wanted beautiful homes.
They started looking for homeowners willing to rent out their rooms and offered to take photos of them and upload them to the website to attract renters. To this day, airbnb has a global presence, and they have positioned themselves very successfully.
So much for business positioning, but what about individuals? Of course it's not that easy, it's a constant search and dynamic process.
My personal public positioning is also gradually clear, through the early reproduction of other people's articles to the current original articles and original pictures, and gradually formed their own style.
Of course, when you can't find your niche in life, you will be at a loss, but remember, you can't give up, and you should always have a firm belief that sooner or later, you will find your own strengths and what you are good at, and try more, and dare to be trial and error.
