Chiba hu is also known as ground smoked, Common Gromwell, mountain vegetables, Ru grass and other names. Chaihu is an annual herbaceous plant, often wild in the mountains, hills, barren slopes, bushes, roadsides and forest gaps below 1500m above sea level. It is dug in the spring and fall, and the stems, leaves and sediments are removed, and the roots can be used as medicine after drying.
