1. Sowing method

One acre of land is half a pound, planted in spring. For every acre of stevia planted, about 10-20 square meters of seedlings are needed. Before sowing, rub off the pappus and soak in clean water overnight. When sowing seeds, first fill the seedbed with enough water. After the water seeps down, sprinkle the seeds evenly on the seedbed, and then cover the seeds with fine sand or fine soil so that the seeds are half exposed and half buried. Finally, use bamboo sticks to make arches and cover the seedbed tightly with mulch.

2. Field management

Use phosphorus and potassium fertilizer as base fertilizer and nitrogen fertilizer as top dressing. The first top dressing is done 5-10 days after the seedlings survive, with 10 kilograms of urea per mu. During the vigorous growth period, the second top dressing is 20-25 kilograms. The third top dressing is done after harvest, with 15 kilograms of urea per mu. Kilogram, after weeding and harvesting, top dressing once.
