1. Jinli

As one of the famous attractions in Chengdu, Jinli is loved by foreign tourists for its preservation of ancient Chengdu's street style and its many varied snacks. However, for Chengdu locals, Jinli may be considered too commercialized and overcrowded tourist attraction, and Chengdu locals hardly go to Jinli for snacks, which are expensive and not authentic.

2. Broad and Narrow Alley

Broad and Narrow Alley is another scenic spot in Chengdu, famous for its preserved architectural style from the Ming and Qing dynasties. However, for Chengdu locals, Kuan-Narrow Alley may be seen as overcrowded and commercialized due to the large number of tourists that visit the area.

I first traveled to Chengdu in 2000 and found the Broad and Narrow Alley to be so beautiful, literary and artistic, with very few people, and many of the places were out of the film. After settling down in Chengdu, I never took the initiative to go there myself, but I did take my friends from abroad, and there were too many people, so the experience was not very good indeed.3. I've been to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, which is very crowded and has fewer pandas, some of which stay in the room and are invisible, some of which are asleep and motionless, so I can't get enough of them; the Wolong Giant Panda Breeding Center is very large, and there are a lot of pandas, and the pandas in different states of being naive and adorable, which makes them too cute. However, for Chengdu locals, they may be less interested in Luodai Ancient Town due to its distance from the city, preferring more convenient attractions and activities within the city.
