There are three types of migratory locusts in my country: Locusta migratoria manilensis (Meyen), Asian migratory locust (Locusta migratoria migratoria (Linnaeus)) and Tibetan migratory locust (Locusta migratoria tibitensis Chen)
Among them, the East Asian migratory locust has the widest distribution range and the most serious harm in my country. It is the main species of migratory locust causing locust plagues in my country. It mainly harms gramineous plants and is an agricultural pest.
Soil locusts refer to other types of locusts other than migratory locusts. They have many types, are widely distributed, and have diverse feeding habits. Due to the differences in the natural environment in various places, the community results and hazard characteristics are different. Such as Chinese rice locust, short-fronted locust, etc.
