Shadow the Hedgehog(シャドウ? ザ? ヘッジホッグ, Chinese translation of Shadow / Chat / Chardo) is a character in the game Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog) series, due to its unique character, and therefore positioned as both good and evil neutral type characters (or called the anti-hero). To be precise, Shadow is an artificially created life form. It first appeared in Sega's 2001 DC game Sonic Adventure 2.
History
The history of Shadow's design is as murky as his origins, and there is debate as to whether he was designed by Yuji Kamigawa or Takashi Iizuka. Originally positioned as an antagonist, the inspiration for his design is unclear, but in terms of temperament alone, Shadow bears a slight resemblance to Dragon Ball's antagonist Vegeta.
Dark Shadow first appeared in the DC game Sonic Adventure 2 as an antagonist to Sonic and others. But when he realized he was being used he immediately sided with Sonic and the others. Shadow disappeared at the end of the game, and many thought that was the end of the character.
However, Shadow reappeared in the 2003 cross-platform game Sonic Heroes. This time he had lost all his memories and his goal was to recover them, but by the end of the game the team kept the suspense alive - was the Shadow the original Shadow, or was he just a clone created by the villainous Dr. Eggman?
In 2005, Shadow got his own game, "Shadow the Hedgehog," in which the mystery of Shadow's origins was revealed. At the end of the story, Shadow retrieves his memories, but he puts them behind him and continues his lonely journey ......
Characters
The Shadow was the product of a secret government program 50 years ago called Project: Shadow. Shadow, a government-appointed program called "Project: Shadow", run by Prof. Gerald Robotnik. The program aims to create artificial beings with superhuman strength. Prof. Gerald has no intention of accepting the assignment, but his love for his beloved granddaughter, Maria Robotnik, who is suffering from a terminal illness that cannot be cured by drugs, compels Dr. Gerald to finally commit to the project. Dr. Gerard arrives at the Space Colony ARK in outer space to begin his research.
The researchers, in their study of the Chaos Emeralds, had created a substance called Chaos Drive, which could link the power of the Chaos Emeralds to artificial life. The researchers used this to create a sample of life, which they called an "Ultimate Life-form". This life-form had the ability to regenerate and replicate, which made the researchers very excited, and they seemed to see the dawn of the birth of artificial life. However, things suddenly deteriorated, and the researchers realized that the power of the Ultimate Life-form was too strong and could not be suppressed by existing means. In the end, the government turned the project over to the Ministry of National Defense (GUN, Guard Units of Nation).
Professor Gerard was only halfway through his research, so he begged the GUN to let him continue. However, after learning of the threat posed by the advanced lifeforms, senior officials at the Ministry of National Defense decided to secretly terminate the program, seal off all research facilities on the Ark, and eliminate all personnel involved in the program. The Ministry of National Defense announced the "Shadow Project" to the outside world, claiming that the deaths of the researchers and the closure of the facilities were due to the sudden loss of control of the advanced lifeforms in the course of the research process, of which the Ministry of National Defense had no knowledge. Public opinion pointed the finger at Prof. Gerard, and at that moment, the Ministry of National Defense quickly sent troops to blockade the Ark and sealed the samples of the advanced lifeforms in the depths of the Ark.
But the Defense Ministry didn't realize that Professor Gerard had secretly completed his research on the advanced lifeforms, and that the professor had used the data from the advanced lifeforms to create another lifeform, which he named "The Shadow" after the program. However, the professor was unable to make this being have human-like thoughts and emotions, so he turned to an alien race called the "Black Arms", whose leader Black Doom demanded that the professor implant his own DNA into Shadow's body in exchange for the Chaos Emerald. Shadow's body. Eventually, Shadow was born.
The secret was soon discovered by spies sent into the Ark by the Ministry of Defense, who decided to do whatever it took to wipe out all researchers and inhabitants of the Ark and destroy all research facilities. When the army arrives, the professor's granddaughter, Maria, escapes with Shadow. The Professor commissions the two to reveal the truth to the public, but as the two prepare to board the escape pod to Earth, Maria is shot, but with her last breath she launches the pod that Shadow was traveling in.
Dr. Eggman"
Doctor "Eggman" Robotnik (ドクタアエッグマン dokutaa egguman, commonly known in the West as Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, nicknamed the Eggman; Chinese translation: Dr. Eggman/Dr. Eggman/Dr. Mechanical), is a villainous character in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Has an IQ of over 300. His age is unknown, probably in his late 50s. The character designer is Naoto Oshima.
History
The reason for designing Dr. Eggman is simple: how can an adventure game not have a villain? When Sega was designing the villain for the first Sonic game, Sonic the Hedgehog, in 1991, Sega artist Naoto Oshima wanted to create a simple, clean-cut character, and with a bit of exaggeration, Dr. Eggman came to life. The origin of this image is interesting, as the Sega staff wanted the game's villain to be a bloated, bearded man in pink pajamas and glasses. The design was told as a joke by Sega insiders, but was later used as the basic image of Dr. Eggman. It is also said that in Hayao Miyazaki's 1986 animated film Castle in the Sky, there was a character who closely resembled the current Dr. Eggman. This character has no name and has only one shot in the animation where he appears on a white tanker. But there's no doubt that Dr. Eggman adopted the character's wardrobe design. There is also an even more outrageous theory that Dr. Eggman was inspired by former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt.
Dr. Eggman was named after a Beatles song, "I am the Walrus," which includes the lyrics, "I am the Eggman, they are the Eggman". A reworked version of this lyric later appeared in Dr. Eggman's theme song.
As for Dr. Eggman's real name, in the anime released in Europe and the United States, Eggman is only his nickname, while Ivo Robotnik is his real name (in fact, the word "Ivo" spelled backwards, "Ovi", means "egg" in Greek). However, few people in his birthplace of Japan, including all of Asia, refer to him as Dr. Robotnik. Most of the released Sonic the Hedgehog games now use Eggman as their common name.
Characterography
Since Dr. Eggman is a villainous character, there's no doubt that he's supposed to do what a villain often does: rule the world! Like other classic villains, Dr. Eggman possesses a great talent for mechanics, which gives him the means to build his fantasy "Eggman Empire". However, this is a delusion that is rightly opposed by the positive characters, and rightly unsuccessful.
Dr. Eggman's grandfather was Prof. Gerald Robotnik, a brilliant scientist who served the government and was killed in a government conspiracy 50 years ago. Dr. Egghead has inherited his grandfather's high intelligence, but he will apparently never work with the government again.
Dr. Egghead has built countless amazing mechanical weapons, and like most villains, he also possesses unimaginably large bases - and rebuilds an even larger one every time it's destroyed. But no matter how spectacular the spectacle, in the end, Sonic and the others, who are the frontrunners, always leave Dr. Eggman's achievements in ruins. Dr. Eggman aspires to capture the Chaos Emeralds to gain control of the universe, but repeatedly fails to do so. As a villainous cartoon character his greatest attribute is that he never repents.
But Dr. Eggman also has his moments of goodwill, when the Earth is about to be destroyed. After all, without Earth, his fantasy "Eggman Empire" would be meaningless. That's why at the end of several Sonic games and anime series, Dr. Eggman joins forces with Sonic and the others and offers them help, but in the end, he continues to soak in his delusions of grandeur and continues the same old story of the villains being pathetic.
In future games, Sega seems to be moving away from the usual Dr. Eggman villainy, and instead is bringing him closer to the neutral side of good and evil. This intention has been evident in several games that have already been released. In the upcoming PS3 game Sonic the Hedgehog, Dr. Eggman will most likely take on a new persona; however, from the looks of it, he's going to be a villain for a long time to come.
Character Situation Scan
Dr. Eggman's antagonist persona aside, he's actually a very humorous, romantic, somewhat narcissistic, and rather childish old coot. This seems to stem from the fact that several of the actors who voiced him were as such personalities (though several have since resigned). And he was very much a gentleman - though it was hard to notice from his appearance.
For his family, Dr. Egghead has great respect for his grandfather, Professor Gerard, and aspires to be just like him. He wishes to create intelligent robots like his grandfather made back in the day, but only turns them into combat weapons every time.
Dr. Eggman's biggest pet peeve, naturally, is when the likes of Sonic ruin his plans, but he never underestimates these positive characters. Many of the machines he builds emulate the traits of his opponents. On top of that, he greatly favored Tars, who also possessed a high IQ like his, except that Dr. Eggman never allowed anyone to surpass his inventions.
Theme song
"E.G.G.M.A.N."
This tune is the only confirmed theme song for Dr. Egghead. Other than that most of the tunes that contain him are either instrumental only, or else just a small snippet. The tune is in the weird black jazz genre.

Sonic is about 15 years old, enjoys listening to music, and has a Mercedes speed of over Mach 1 or more (still unknown ......). His body can be rolled into a circle and uses the spines on his back to attack his enemies in a rolling fashion. Unruly personality, does not flatter others, and is sensitive to the sound aspect. Doesn't know how to swim, but doesn't find that to be scary (no wonder ...... is scared to death of water ......). Favorite food is said to be hot dogs. Sonic's birthplace is a very controversial place. In fact, in most game manuals issued in Europe and the United States, as well as in animated cartoons, Sonic's homeworld is considered to be Planet Mobius. In the game versions, Sonic was born on Christmas Island, and there is basically no way to verify his past and his family and such. But one thing he never had was his supersonic skills and those not-so-good temperaments.
Tails:
The Chinese translations are Miles Prower (full name) and Tails (nickname).
Tails is a two-tailed fox, about 8 years old, about 80cm tall and weighing about 20kg, his unique feature is that his two tails can twist and turn like a helicopter, thus giving him the ability to fly. He has superhuman intelligence and is a genius when it comes to mechanical engineering. His full name, Miles Prower, is actually a portmanteau of "miles per hour". The name was originally designed as a reference to his partner, Sonic.
Tails' natural specialty is his twin tails and brain. Tails can fly through the air, so much so that in the first few games, Tails was tasked with carrying Sonic, but his tails can be used as both flying and offensive weapons. And as opposed to Sonic, who is a "dry duck," Tails has very good swimming skills (which seems to be the only thing he has over his partner, who is not afraid to go out of his way to be a good swimmer)
Tails's brain is the second thing he is supposed to be proud of. With an alleged IQ of 200, his genius for mechanical engineering rivals that of the villainous Dr. Eggman, and Tails' creations are many - starting with Sonic the Hegdehog2 and including many aircraft and heavy-duty machines. including many airplanes and heavy robots, with his best work being the Tornado series. In the TV version of the anime, his mechanical genius is described as nothing short of incredible.
Personality-wise, Tails is rather shy, especially in comparison to his big-hearted partner Sonic, and seems to rely on him too much and seems unsure of himself, to the point where he begins to annoy Sonic. However, Tails eventually proves himself in the game's Sonic Adventure storyline, where he defeats Dr. Eggman and saves the entire Station Square, the name of the city in which he lives in the Sonic series.
Tails is quite loyal to his partner, something that annoys Sonic. But Tails is always trying to change the impression others have of him - giving the impression that he's tinkering with his machines as if he's very diligent, both in the TV anime and the game episodes - and that his greatest sense of accomplishment is when people appreciate him, and his greatest loss is when they despise him.
Tails, of course, has his flaws: first, he's dependent on others, second, he's too simple-minded, and third, he's a chatterbox when it comes to topics that interest him. The thing that scares him the most is lightning, and the thing that depresses him the most is having nothing to do or being left hanging. Also hates being mocked as Shorty by Wave in Sonic Riders.
Knuckles
Set at the age of 16, Knuckles is a red echidna. The character designer is Takashi Yukata.
Knuckles was born on Angel Island, an ancient island that floats in the air and enshrines the Master Emerald as a "controller" against the forces of Chaos, and Knuckles was born to guard the massive Emerald. The Knuckles are the last descendants of an ancient race of echidna warriors who were destroyed when they tried to take over the power to control the Emerald.
The two bony knuckles on Knuckles' left and right hands are his weapons, and his two bone-spiked fists are the best offensive weapons. In turn, as an echidna, he can punch holes in the ground while lifting rocks with tremendous brute strength, or drive bone spikes into walls as a climbing tool. His most peculiar ability is his ability to glide with his long hair; Knuckles' hair is specially constructed to allow him to glide through the sky for periods of time, though he is nowhere near as fast as Sonic.
Because he is the guardian of the Master Emerald, Knuckles has the ability to sense the presence of Chaos forces, which allows him to sense the location of Master Emerald shards in gameplay, and can also be used to sense the location of Master Emerald shards. This allows him to sense the location of the Master Emerald Shards in the game, and can also be used to search for the Chaos Emeralds, which he has trained to become an excellent treasure hunter in order to search for the Shards as well as collect the 7 Chaos Emeralds, which is greatly facilitated by his specialization in these areas. Other skills can be acquired in different games.
Knuckles is honest by nature, which is why he has been repeatedly cheated. His life is one where he has become out of touch and stubborn in the head. Very combative in nature, but only speaks with his strength, which is why he is often backstabbed. The single-mindedness of Knuckles' mind has already been mentioned, and he acts so stupidly every time he's tricked that Sonic calls him Knucklehead (for "dead brain").
Knuckles' biggest fear is being exposed to the sun, and he's very shy, especially around women. The echidna also lacks an understanding of modern society due to his long confinement to the altar of Angel Island.
team rose
Amy Rose
She's a pink hedgehog with a set age of twelve.
Amy is very kind & sweet, helpful and sometimes a little naive. This character makes her a perfect candidate for hostage-taking by villains, but the biggest convenience this character gives Amy is the ability to get close to everyone, even to the point of sensitizing her enemies. For example, in Sonic Adventure, Amy aroused E-102 Gamma's inner consciousness, and in Sonic Adventure 2, it was she who saved Shadow's life by allowing him to find the deepest memories in his mind.
Of course, Amy is best known for her spunk, and many have criticized the team for seemingly trying to turn Amy into a "bad girl" in recent games, with less and less of her goodness coming through. Some believe this is due to the team's intention to transfer these qualities to Amy's best friend Cream (an example of this is in Sonic Battle, where Cream is the one who convinces Gamma again). However, Amy is very protective of her friends, for example in Sonic Riders, when Tails is joked about being "short", Amy is quick to stick up for him. She is also confident, optimistic and persistent - especially when it comes to tracking Sonic. Although Sonic never considers Amy his girlfriend, the fact that Sonic often praises Amy and helps her out when necessary seems to indicate that it's not always the same old "I'll chase you, you run" routine between them.
One of Amy's best attributes is her hammer, Piko Piko, which, like the giant hammers in many cartoons that are always a source of fear for the main character, has become a weapon of intimidation for Sonic, and is based on the design of a Japanese hammer toy of the same name. After grueling training, Amy has finally gained incredible speed and can therefore perform difficult jumps with the hammer.
How does Amy carry such a big hammer? It's an interesting plot convention in Japanese manga -- the so-called "Hammerspace. It's usually located behind the character's back, which means that the hammer appears as soon as you drag your hand behind your back.
Cream the Rabbit
English name: Cream the Rabbit
Japanese name: クリーム? ザ? ラビット (Kurīmu za Rabitto)
Chinese Translation:Kreem, Rebi, Kreem (no unified name at this time)
Category:Games/Cartoons/Manga (ACG) Characters
Series Appeared in:Sonic the Hedgehog series
Character Designer:Yuji Kamikawa (unconfirmed)
Image Attribution: SEGA
Birthday: December 19 (i.e., the release date of the game in which she first appeared)
Set Age: 6
Race: Bunny
Cream's origins aren't as confusing as those of other Sonic characters. She was raised by her mother, Vanilla, who loved Cream and taught her how to treat people politely, so Cream is very humble and friendly, and Cheese, who is always by her side, though she doesn't know how she met her, always takes Cheese with her wherever she goes. Cream sees Cheese as a true friend, not just a pet.
Cream is, after all, just a child of a spoiled mother, polite and humble, but also innocent and sweet, friendly to all (except the villains). Among the many characters in the Sonic series, she is the weaker of the female characters. Because of this, Cheese is always at her side to protect her, and Cream is self-respecting and loyal to her friends, and her politeness is evident everywhere she looks, even in the face of her enemies.
But because of this Cream is a bit naive and childish, and is interested in many things, which can lead to her being bullied.Cream's pride pushes her to defend everything she agrees with, and makes her very sensitive, which can lead to her acting in ways that don't match her polite attitude, and is her biggest weakness.
Cream's large ears can flap like wings, and due to her unusually large ears, she can even fly with them. She also carries an umbrella with her for landing. Loves all things peaceful, such as cooking and picking flowers, though often screws up her cooking. She also enjoys watching TV (especially "the NEXT Show") and her favorite food is ice cream, but is too cheap to share it with others.
Big the cat
Big the cat is a big, purple-blue, gloved cat who likes to fish. Becomes a partner to sonic and the others in an incident. Partners with Amy and Cream in the game.

Shadow the Hedgehog
Shadow is the product of a secret government program 50 years ago, called Project Shadow, which was commissioned by the government and led by Prof. Gerald Robotnik. Prof. Gerald Robotnik was appointed by the government to preside over the program. The purpose of the program was to create artificial beings with superhuman strength. Prof. Gerald did not intend to accept the assignment, but his love for his beloved granddaughter Maria Robotnik, who suffers from a terminal illness that cannot be cured by drugs, compels Dr. Gerald to finally commit to the program. The researchers, in their study of the Chaos Emeralds, created a substance called Chaos Drive, which could link the power of the Chaos Emeralds to artificial life forms. The researchers were able to link the Chaos Emerald's power to artificial life forms, and created a sample of life that they called the "Ultimate Life-form". This life-form had the ability to regenerate and replicate, which made the researchers very excited, and they seemed to see the dawn of the birth of artificial life. In the end, the government turned the project over to the Ministry of National Defense (GUN, Guard Units of Nation).
Professor Gerard was only halfway through his research, so he asked the Defense Ministry to let him continue. However, after learning of the threat posed by the advanced lifeforms, senior officials at the Ministry of National Defense decided to secretly terminate the program, seal off all research facilities on the Ark, and eliminate all personnel involved in the program. The Ministry of National Defense announced the "Shadow Project" to the outside world, claiming that the deaths of the researchers and the closure of the facilities were due to the sudden loss of control of the lifeforms in the course of the research process, of which the Ministry of National Defense had no knowledge. However, the professor was unable to make this being have human-like thoughts and emotions, so he turned to an alien race called the "Black Arms", the leader of the army Black Doom (Black Doom) asked the professor to take "Chaos Emeralds" as a token of his support. Emeralds" in exchange for implanting his DNA into Shadow's body. Eventually, Shadow was born.
The secret was soon discovered by a Defense Ministry spy (later a Defense Ministry commander) sent to the Ark, who decided to do whatever it took to wipe out all the Ark's researchers and inhabitants and destroy all the research facilities. When the army arrives, the professor's granddaughter, Maria, escapes with Shadow. The Professor commissions the two to reveal the truth to the public, but as they are about to board the escape pod to Earth, Maria is shot, but with her last breath she launches the pod that Shadow was traveling in.
The army arrested Professor Gerard and took him into custody. The professor was so grief-stricken at the news of his granddaughter's death that he eventually suffered a nervous breakdown. After hearing that the Defense Ministry had recovered the security pod that the Shadow had ridden in, the mad professor implanted new emotions into the advanced life form he had created, and all that was left in the mad professor's mind was the pain of his granddaughter's murder and the rage of vengeance. But in the end, the professor was unable to escape death and was secretly executed by the Ministry of National Defense.
Shadow is a man of his own free will, who never listens to anyone but himself. Shadow is always alone in his quest to recover his memories, and his personality is the complete opposite of Sonic's. He will only fulfill what he believes is right and what is wrong. He only honors what he believes to be right and wrong, and does not socialize well with anyone. He is always seen as solemn and serious, but not lacking in wisdom and wit. He eventually chooses to forget the past, but his character does not change because of it, and learns to be more resilient, even in the face of Mephistopheles' lies he is not knocked down.
Shadow's Chaos Control ability is due to the fact that he is endowed with the same life essence as an immortal life form: Chaos Drive. He always refers to himself as an "Advanced Lifeform", but he was not strictly formed by the growth of Chaos Drive.
He has the same speed as Sonic, and is even officially faster than Sonic. This may be attributed to his shoes having the ability to accelerate.Shadow has two restraining rings around his wrists to prevent him from over-utilizing his power and not being able to withstand it.Chaos Drive gives off energies that Earth beings can't fully control.
Shadow is actually a natural athletic wizard, and he shows his talent in the game Sonic Riders. He also has the ability to utilize weapons and vehicles in an untutored manner.
rouge the bat
As a member of the DARK TEAM, Shadow is portrayed as a white-faced batgirl. Likes to wear red lipstick, often wears an underbust corset, loves money and gems, and spends time with SHADOW for treasure hunts.
e-102r
Originally a robot under Dr. EGG, she joined sonic and the others because of Rose's probation. Partnered with shadow in this game
Team Chaotix
Vector the Crocodile
Vector (which translates to Victor, or Bekkedah) is a crocodile, aged 20. He is the leader of the Chaotix team and the founder of the detective agency. Vector's first appearance as an official character, however, was in MD's earliest sound tests for Sonic the Hedgehof, which is why he wears headphones. The very first image didn't look like a crocodile, to the point where it resembled a Godzilla. It only reappeared later in Knuckles' Chaotix. The reason Vector came to Mystery to is because he thought the island was a miracle, and it was clear that he intended to go on a treasure hunt here.
Vector has always been a gold-digger by creed, so the detective agency he founded was always running on money. There's no doubt that Vector is a money-grubber and can be rude to people at times. At the same time, however, he is actually very kind at heart; it's hard to imagine him being so miserly in other areas, but very passionate about charity. Despite his talent as a detective, Vector is a very casual guy, and sometimes he can be childish. He also has a quiet crush on Cream's mom, Ms. Vanilla. His favorite thing though is music, after all, it's a talent he was given when he was created. His singing voice, however, is quite fearsome and even quite lethal. Around his neck hangs a gold chain, popular in the Caribbean, which goes some way to explaining the designer's inspiration for his characterization.
Espio the Chameleon
Espio (translated as Espio) is a chameleon, 16 years old, and definitely an anomaly in comparison to the live-wire-like atmosphere of the entire Chaotix group. He is a ninja by profession, so his character is very cold and calm, and also very social; he always likes to hide in a place to carry on his "training" Espio is a detective, he seems to be dragged into the Chaotix detective agency by Vector.
Espio, a chameleon, has the ability to blend his skin color into his surroundings, which facilitates his work as a ninja. On his wrist is a shuriken launcher used by ninjas and a weapon he uses against his enemies. Vector and Charmy, however, have him use the ninjutsu to steal information, something he doesn't seem to like.Espio is good with computers, though he has an inexplicable hatred for Dr. Egghead.Espio always wants to handle problems discreetly every time, only to have them always be screwed up by his two livewire partners.
Charmy Bee
Charmy (Charmy, or Charmy) is a young bee, the youngest member of the Chaotix (6 years old). He is the most open-minded of the three, and as a small child, all he likes to do is play and take naps. But he's still an important member of Chaotix as a whole.
Charmy first appeared in the Japanese version of the Sonic manga, and as a character also ported from the manga to the game, Charmy, like Amy Rose, was caught by Dr. Egghead at the beginning. After being rescued by Knuckles, he joined Chaotix.
Charmy is a fast runner, but as a bee he's more of a flyer, and he has a penchant for flowers, which is why he's used in the game with a variety of exotic flowers.
