Anise (daijiao, fennel)

Danpi

Dang Gui
Dang Gui has the effect of tonifying and activating blood, regulating menstruation and relieving pain, moistening the intestines and laxative. It is used for blood deficiency, dizziness, palpitations, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, cold abdominal pain, constipation, rheumatism and paralysis, bruises, carbuncle sores and ulcers.
