In my opinion, there are two reasons for the shortage of labor. The first is that young people are increasingly reluctant to engage in front-line jobs. For state-owned enterprises such as Shengli Oilfield, the welfare of front-line workers is obviously insufficient. Many front-line jobs are manual work, which will undoubtedly make them very tired. If the treatment is good enough, many people may accept it, but the reality is that the more tired, the lower the income. Coupled with the rapid development of short video platform, a large number of well-paid network celebrities appear in people's field of vision. Under such an impact, young people are even more reluctant to engage in front-line work.
Secondly, the employment restriction of state-owned enterprises is also the reason for the labor shortage. We all know that state-owned enterprises have certain restrictions when recruiting people, such as academic qualifications. Now many young people have enough education, but they are unwilling to engage in front-line work. After all, frontline work is really tiring, and young people may not be able to stand it. For older people, they are willing to do this job, but their education is not up to standard. Under such conditions, there will be an embarrassing situation in which those who have the conditions don't want to go and those who want to go have no conditions, and the labor shortage will naturally follow.
For an enterprise, the emergence of labor shortage is undoubtedly very fatal, which will greatly affect the production progress of the project, especially now the demand for oil in the country is increasing, and once there is labor shortage in oil field projects, it will cause huge losses, so I still hope that relevant parties can find a reasonable solution and get through this labor shortage as soon as possible.
