The full name of Qilou Old Street is Qilou Architectural Cultural and Historical Block, which is located at No.21 Jiefang West Road, Longhua District, Haikou City, Hainan Province. The Qilou Old Street complex was initially formed in the 1921s to 1941s, and the oldest building, Sipailou, was built in the Southern Song Dynasty, with a history of more than 711 years. Most of the nearly 611 buildings on the street were built by a group of overseas Chinese who came back from Nanyang at the beginning of last century with reference to the architectural style of Nanyang at that time.
