Personal toiletries, slippers, medicines and passports must be brought. Korea is a 1 10V2 circular socket. Remember to bring thick clothes and umbrellas when the weather is cold and windy (in fact, disposable raincoats are better if the wind is strong). More importantly, bring money and cards! Ha ha!
The following is what I wrote half a month ago. I hope it will help you.
1. Currency: It's better to exchange won in China, which is much more cost-effective than going to Jeju Island! Only the head office or the highest-level branch of the local China Bank can change it. Jeju Island Airport, RMB 1: 167, and tour guides generally pay less than 1: 170. There are two money exchange points opposite the Best Grant Hotel in Jeju (opposite the Silla Duty Free Shop), one is 1: 169 ~ 65438. The data is August 3, 20091.
Shopping and food and drinks: The English level of people in that place can't compare with that of people in China. VISA speaks the same as pizza, but speaks a little Chinese. There is a street on the right hand side of Grant Hotel. Several skin care products are very good, and all of them have waiters who can speak Chinese. Things in the duty-free shop opposite the hotel are not as cheap as those in Taiwan Province Province, and cosmetics in the airport duty-free shop are cheaper. The ginseng in Zhengguanzhuang is good, but there is something in a specialty store that is not available in duty-free shops. Never buy silver chopsticks, it's a lie. Your seaweed is made in China, but the packaging is not made in China, only Korean. Raw honey and horse bone powder in folk village sound good, but I didn't buy them because my card was maxed out in Zhengguanzhuang.
You should pay attention to your diet. Midnight snack must go to a shop without Chinese, that is, a shop where only locals go. It doesn't matter if you don't understand the language. They will find someone who knows Chinese to introduce you. I ate a small squid sashimi, which was very cool! You can see the live fish tank in front of the shop. The antenna sucker will move when eating!
Family mart is everywhere, there is no fork in instant noodles, and chopsticks are taken at the cashier. You can buy seaweed here, and the price above 10000 is made in Korea. I don't have time to go to the big supermarket because the shop closes at 7 pm.
4. Attractions: Ladies who go to the beach should wear bikinis, or at least split swimsuits. No one there wears a one-piece swimsuit, which is for indoor swimming. Don't expect hot springs, saunas, massages and pedicures, which are certainly not as good as those in China.
5. Others: There are basically no trash cans on the street, and smoking is not allowed in any room except the disco in the snack bar. Please throw out the cigarette butts and throw them into the trash can of the bus.
6: focus! ! ! Please pay attention! It is strongly recommended that the tour guide take it to the disco at night. There is striptease, but it is definitely not erotic. There will definitely be a different feeling! The basic consumption is four people, four bottles of beer, 1 fruit plate, 1 grilled squid, 120000 (I'm not sure, it was given by the tour guide at that time), and one bottle of beer is called 6000. There is no discount of 1 for half a dozen. This can be confirmed.
I took part in a four-day and three-night tour, which was awarded by the insurance company, so the arrangement was very good, accompanied by the staff of the local tourism bureau, and the shopping spots I went to were very formal. That's what tour guides do for a living, as long as they don't lie to others. I didn't plan to go shopping before going to Zhengguanzhuang, but it felt really good. Later, we went to the duty-free shop to compare, and the things I bought there were really not duty-free shops. I bought ginseng capsules and ginseng cream for my parents.
