Quanzhou, also known as Licheng, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Fujian Province. It is one of the central cities of the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Strait and a modern industrial and trade port city approved by the Fujian Provincial People's Government. Quanzhou is located in East China, 117 25 ′-119 5 ′ east longitude and 24 3 ′-25 56 ′ north latitude, bordering Fuzhou and Putian in the north.
