But we don't seem to feel the substantial value of 5G's presence, and there doesn't seem to be much movement in the market. In the end, 5G will bring what change to the enterprise? Let's start with a case study, say "What changes did 4G bring to the restaurant industry ". Then compare the three ways in which 5G is essentially different.
This case study made me realize that the 5G era is going to lead to many, many big changes that we didn't expect. And it could be relevant to you, no matter what industry you're in.
While we may not know exactly what that change is, we can say for sure that 5G is fundamentally different in three ways:
First , 5G is about the industrial Internet, not the consumer Internet.
What does it mean ! The second half of the Internet is the industrial Internet. So it's hard for us, as consumers, to feel 5G directly, even if 5G has been in commercial use for a year. Unlike when we were using 4G, we clearly felt it was better than 3G.
Secondly , 5G is an environment, not an application. 5G is ubiquitous. It underpins the backend of many of the products and services we use. Our experience will be optimized and the sense of access will be enhanced, but we may not realize that this is related to 5G.
Third , 5G is more about connecting things than connecting people. The previous four generations of communications technology were all about enhancing connections between people. If you want to experience 5G, it will only be in the future of AI, IoT, and IoT.
Currently, China has the world's largest 5G infrastructure, which can lead to the rapid development of all aspects of our technology and economy, and the prosperity of our motherland.
