Lao Wang operates three self-branded brands under its umbrella, including Lao Wang Pot Food Cuisine, Pot Season, and Lao Wang Heart Belly Chicken Soup. Currently, the brand has opened 135 self-operated restaurants.

Lao Wang belongs to the brand of Lao Wang (Shanghai) Catering Management Company Limited, which was established in 2009. It is the No. 1 Cantonese hot pot restaurant in China by 2020 revenue, with a 1.7 percent share, and the fourth largest hot pot restaurant in China as a whole. If successfully listed, Lo Wang will become another brand to IPO in Hong Kong after Hai Di Lao and Gluttony.
