The Institute of Environment and Resources of Guizhou University was established in 2002. There are 32 employees, including 4 professors, 7 associate professors, 8 tutors for master students, 9 lecturers and 4 teaching assistants. Among the staff, there are 9 doctors. The institute consists of land resources research center, environmental monitoring and evaluation center, ecological environment planning center, agricultural product quality testing center, fertilizer resource development center and environmental disaster prevention center. At present, the feasibility study report, preliminary planning, design and budget of land development, consolidation and reclamation projects in Fenggang County, renhuai city County, Anlong County, qianxi county County, Dafang County and Weining County have been completed. The overall land use planning of qianxi county, Jinsha, Liping, Guanling and Weng 'an is being revised.
Institute of food resources development and utilization
The Institute of Development and Utilization of Food Resources is a school-level research institution approved by the Department of Food Nutrition and Safety of College of Life Sciences (formerly the Department of Food Science) in 2003. Based on the actual development of food industry, taking food processing technology and food quality and safety as the core, taking Industry-University-Research as the means, and relying on the construction of discipline team, the comprehensive development and utilization of superior edible animal and plant resources in Guizhou were studied. At present, there are 6 full professors, 3 associate professors, 4 lecturers, 2 experimenters, 3 doctors and 3 masters, with reasonable age and subject structure.
In recent years, more than 30 national, provincial and municipal scientific research projects have been declared and approved, nearly 20 horizontal cooperation projects have been approved, and nearly 100 papers have been published (including 3 SCI journals, 3 EI journals 1 papers, and nearly 20 CSCD journals), and nearly 20 award-winning achievements and patents have been awarded, with a total research funding of 5 million yuan.

Guizhou University Agricultural Products Food Quality and Safety Testing Center was established in April 2004, and passed the metrological certification of Guizhou Provincial Bureau of Technical Supervision [(2005) Qian (Q0279)] in 2005. The center is located in the south campus of Guizhou University, Huaxi District, Guiyang City. There are 27 professional technicians, including 8 professors, 9 associate professors, 8 lecturers and experimenters 1 person. Among the teachers, there are 6 doctoral supervisors 1 person and 6 master supervisors; Senior professional titles account for 48% of the total number, 8 people have doctoral degrees and 2 people have master's degrees. At present, there are postdoctoral 1 person, 4 doctoral students and 3 master students. The proportion of teachers with master's and doctoral degrees is 63%. The center has more than 500 square meters of laboratories, including 6 sample processing laboratories and 4 instrument rooms, as well as 1 balance room, 1 electric heating room and 1 office. Guizhou University Institute of New Fertilizer Resources was established in 2005. It has a high-quality scientific research team, including 4 professors, 3 associate professors 1 1, 3 lecturers and other researchers, 9 with doctoral and doctoral degrees, accounting for 50% of the staff, and 4 with master's and master's degrees, accounting for 22.2% of the staff.
