The arcades in the old Sanbu area are mainly distributed in Dihai and Xinchang, especially in Xinchang, which is much larger than Dihai.

When I was a child, Xinchang was mainly a long street, from west to east, from the East River connecting Dihai, like a long ribbon, which lingered by the Tanjiang River.

at that time, Xinchang port was very popular, and the shops in each street had certain functional differences.

Starting from Donghe Main Street, it was the only "Youth Cinema" in Kaiping, right at the beginning of Donghe Road. When I was a child, I could watch a movie for a few cents. I still remember the scene, and it was the only entertainment for us at that time!

Now there are no traces of the cinema!

Walk through the small factories of Donghe Road and Xiqiao Road, or the old residential area of Wuxi Road in parallel, and come to Xinhua Road and Xinhua Back Street, as well as Zhonghua Road, Yongfu Road and Yongfu Back Street.

Walking in Xinchang, "Xinchang Park" must be talked about. From childhood to now, it has been changing constantly, and it is no longer the old look, but the most profound thing is the happiness of childhood!

After passing Xinchang Park, the "Kaiping Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital" you see now is actually the former "Kaiping People's Hospital".

walking into Xinhua backstreet, a strong smell of fireworks came to my face. It was once noisy here. The earliest individual clothing sales market in Kaiping was opened here.

It turned back to the main street from Xinhua Back Street, which was Xinhua Road. There used to be a two-story "Xinchang State Department Store", which was the largest and only department store in Kaiping at that time.

There were photo studios, cloth shops, pharmacies, herbal tea shops and Xinhua Bookstore on the same street. At that time, there was no individual economy. These were all.

the name of this "scenery photo studio" hasn't changed, but after decades, the signboard is no longer the same as before, and it has already closed.

However, my childhood photographic experience is still fresh in my mind. At that time, photography was also a luxury consumption. Sometimes, it's rare to take a family photo, or a school graduation photo, etc ...

When I was in primary school, I spent most of my time running to Xinhua Bookstore, and I like to buy comic books with my pocket money at home, so now I still have a lot of complete comic books.

nowadays, the shops above have basically changed with the changes of the times, but one or two of them have survived tenaciously until now, giving those old streets a place to place their feelings, such as the "benefit for the people" herbal tea shop.

I remember that when I was a child, I had a fever at night, and adults would go to the Gongchang state-owned drugstore in this street to buy medicine. Drugstores are closed in the middle of the night, but some people are on duty, and some people buy medicines and deliver them through the small window at the gate.

When I came to Tongxing Road, this street was mainly a school area. At that time, most children's first reading schools were "Dade Primary School", which was the most memorable school for the old three ports.

Sanbu Dade Primary School was founded in 1919, which was donated by overseas Chinese in Zhen Shi, and has a history of more than 111 years. The school is located at No.95, Tongxing Road, Xinchang, Sanbu. It was rated as a first-class school in Guangdong Province in 1993 and is a key primary school in Kaiping City.

At that time, most children in Sanbu began to study at Dade Primary School, which was my alma mater.

I remember the first time I went on stage to tell a story, and I won an award. Now I think of it, the scenery is infinite!

The "Golden Sound" lion drum shop in Yongfu Road, Xinchang has been famous since childhood! Founded in 1888, it was listed in Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 1991s.

When I was a child, I lived opposite this church. At that time, I played with many friends all over the street. Now it seems like yesterday.

Of course, there are many childhood memories that gradually fade away in the triviality of life, and there may be other old ports with different childhood experiences.

whenever the night is quiet, that scene will reappear in our minds, and it will last for a long time.
