The report said that in the past three years, China's comprehensive final consumption of tourism accounted for more than 14 percent of the total final consumption of the national economy in the same period, the comprehensive capital formation of tourism accounted for about 6 percent of the total capital formation of the national economy in the same period, and the comprehensive exports of tourism accounted for about 6 percent of the total exports of the national economy.

Among them, in 2017, the comprehensive contribution of tourism was 8.77 trillion yuan, with a comprehensive contribution of 11.04% to the national economy, more than 80% to the accommodation, food and beverage, civil aviation, and railroad passenger transportation industries, 28.25 million people were directly employed by tourism, and 80 million people were directly and indirectly employed by tourism, with a comprehensive contribution of 10.28% to the social employment.
