The story is set in the Northern Song Dynasty more than 1000 years ago. The court was fatuous, and Song Huizong was greedy for pleasure, which led to the rebellion of officials and people. Shi Naian, whose ancestral home is in Heze, Shandong Province, wrote The Water Margin according to various stories. The characters in the story can't verify its existence, but this doesn't seem to hinder the deep complex of the water margin culture where the story takes place. Especially in Yuncheng, Shandong Province, Song Jiang's hometown, people talk about the authenticity of these words. There is a local river called Song Jiang. Compared with the truth of characters and stories, we are more concerned about what feelings Seoul in Yuncheng can give us.
Shuihuhao Seoul is now a national 4A-level scenic spot, located in the south section of Ximen Street, Yuncheng County, Shandong Province. Yuncheng is a thousand-year-old county. According to historical records, it was called Yuncheng County from the Sui Dynasty (A.D. 1034 to A.D. 20 13). People in the same trade said that the original ancient buildings such as Ancient Fairy Cliff and Chaojiazhuang were integrated here, and Sung River Martial Arts School, Gouwa Art Troupe and Water Margin sitcom performances were attached, forming a comprehensive cultural landscape. Every holiday, people come here to play in an endless stream.
When I arrived, the sun was just right, and the building showed a classical charm under the light and shadow. All the wood in these buildings is the product of Ming and Qing dynasties. It was collected from all over the country and transported here. After more than ten years, this carved building was finally built. Among them, there are Yuncheng Restaurant, Timely Rain Tea House, Sun Erniang Inn, Zhong Yi Temple, Yuncheng County Ya, Prison, etc. It constitutes an important viewing point of the scenic spot.
Yuncheng Restaurant only appeared once in the Water Margin, but because it is closely related to the fate of Song Jiang, it is particularly eye-catching on the left side of Hero City Street. Now it is an important dining place in the scenic spot. There is the largest dining table I have ever seen on the second floor, which can accommodate 80 people at the same time. Sitting there, you can't see who is opposite. Here you can feel the pride of drinking and eating meat.
Seeing the words "Sun Erniang Inn", I couldn't help but go in and have a look. There are some snacks, and of course there are "human buns". Many people are willing to try it here and buy two steamed buns. A buddy with me laughed at himself when he came out to eat "human pork buns". We echoed the joke that human flesh tastes no different from pork and almost spit it out without a word. It turns out that eating steamed buns here still needs to go through your own psychological barrier.
Yuncheng county government is also an important tourist destination. Founded in the Northern Song Dynasty, it has been restored and rebuilt many times. With a building area of 5,400 square meters, it is equipped with lobby, two halls, six rooms, back room, prison and other buildings. Here, the costumes of the Song Dynasty and the antique facilities of the county official's son can make people feel distant solemnity. There are various offices in the county government compound, such as lobby and county government office. When you walk in, you seem to be in the position of rising to the church. It seems that both sides of the struggle between officials and the court are "mighty".
Although these buildings were renovated and restored by later generations, we can still feel the architectural art and political (legal) culture of the Song Dynasty, especially the latter. Perhaps it was the chaos at that time, the people were suppressed by officers and men, and various laws made the memory of that period longer, so that only legends such as atrocities, uprisings and torture devices were left in the romance of later generations.
Among many instruments of torture, the most thrilling one is the "wooden donkey". Although it has gone through thousands of years, it still can't stop the soul trembling pain caused by torture. Imagine, it will make people tremble.
"Wooden donkey" was a kind of torture to female prisoners in the Northern Song Dynasty. Once, a woman was arrested for "disobeying women's conduct". She refused to admit her crime, so she had to parade around the streets on a "wooden donkey". On the back of the donkey, a cork about two inches thick and more than a foot long stands upright, symbolizing the donkey ball, and goes straight into the lower body of the female prisoner. . . . . . . . .
Of course, in such a big and good Seoul, there are not only these classical buildings or political culture, but also folk art. If you are interested, you can sit on the bench in Shuihu Bookstore and listen to the old man for free. Jia Rusheng, an old man in his sixties, is performing here. He told me that he has never left this art form in his life, and many people come here to listen to it every day, usually after listening.
Jia Rusheng played the cymbals with his left hand and the bamboo board with his right hand. One performed and the other sang. His singing is rough and bold, and he speaks his mind without dragging his feet. The content of the singing is all from the plot of the Water Margin, and each song lasts about three to five minutes. It is said that no one who comes here does not listen to the last song.
Being in such a strong water margin culture atmosphere, coupled with the floating "Good Han Song", it seems that some tough guys stand between heaven and earth with domineering, and the legendary stories of water margin heroes hidden in every household are imaginative.
