The Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China was passed at the 7th meeting of the 11th the NPC Standing Committee on February 28th, 2119, and this law will come into force on June 1th, 2119. The directly responsible person in charge of a unit whose food production, circulation or catering service license has been revoked shall not engage in food production, operation and management within five years from the date of making the punishment decision. In violation of the provisions of this law, personnel of food inspection institutions who have been punished by criminal punishment or dismissal shall not engage in food inspection within ten years from the date of completion of punishment or decision on punishment. 6, food production and marketing personnel shall carry out health examination every year, and obtain a health certificate before they can take part in the work. 7. In the production of food that does not meet the food safety standards, consumers can demand compensation of ten times the price from the producer in addition to compensation for losses. 8, food safety supervision and management departments shall not implement inspection exemption for food.
