There are also auspicious and prosperous font names such as inline rise, Ma Juyuan, Tongshenghe and Hendry. When you read fluently, you will never forget it.
Beijing's time-honored brands are far more than those mentioned above. There are Tianxingju, Cheap Square, Yueshengzhai, Daoxiang Village, Qianxiangyi, Jinyang Restaurant, Inline Promotion, Buyingzhai, Ma Juyuan, Ruifuxiang, Zhang Yiyuan, Changchun Hall, Hendry, Silian Hairdressing, Prande, Tongshenghe, Shengnv, Cui Hua Building, Donglaishun, Quanjude, China Photo Studio and Bitton. Rui Fuxiang, Hundun Hou, Xiao Changchen, Wang Mazi Scissors, Lai Xuan, Taifenglou, Tongchunyuan, Hou Defu, Barbecue Bay, Imitation Mountain, Quyuan Restaurant, Xinyuanzhai, Tianfuhao and Yueshengzhai. Speaking of which, these time-honored brands are intangible assets of our old Beijing.
Time-honored brands and plaques also have indissoluble bonds and rich cultural connotations. Moreover, most of the time-honored plaques are made by celebrities, which is the "celebrity effect" in the current words. Celebrities and calligraphers should be invited to write plaques for "prominent" brands. Like the plaques of Zhang Yiyuan, Wu Yutai and Yong 'an Teahouse in tea shops, they are all inscribed by celebrities. What I want to mention here is that the plaque of "Yong 'an Teahouse" was inscribed by Mr. Yu Youren, a veteran of the Republic of China and a famous calligrapher, and its reputation is naturally far-reaching. Besides, when people talk about the names of Yong 'an and Zhang Yiyuan, they immediately think of tea, not anything else.
As long as they are old brands and big businessmen, from emperors to prime ministers, they are also willing to pay a lot of money. For example, the plaque of a steamed dumpling restaurant in Beijing is said to have been written by Emperor Qing Qianlong. The plaques of Heniantang Chinese Medicine Shop and Liubiju Sauce Garden were written by Yan Song, Prime Minister of Ming Dynasty.
Further on, there was Weng Tonghe, a teacher of Emperor Guangxu and a teacher of the Qing Dynasty. He wrote five plaques: Mushroom Zhai, Zun Han Ge Zhai, Bao Gu Zhai, Appreciating Qi Zhai and Xiuwen Zhai. Famous calligraphers in Qing Dynasty, such as Wang Bao of Duoluokeqin County, Shang Shuliang of Ganlong Ritual Department, also wrote plaques for the time-honored brand.
Ancient, modern and modern calligraphers, politicians and literati wrote many plaques when they visited Liulichang. Among them are Li Hongzhang, Liang Qichao, Kang Youwei, Xu Shilu, Wu, Zheng, Huang, Zeng Guofan and Zhang Daqian. There are also many plaques written by modern literati and calligraphers, such as Guo Moruo, Qi Gong, Zhao Puchu, Deng Tuo, Shu Tong, Li Keran, Wu Zuoren and Pu Jie, all of which left ink marks in Liulichang.
Now, decades and hundreds of years have passed, and the "time-honored brand" and its plaque are still the cultural symbols of our old Beijing.
