The competition*** has more than 500 teams from 148 institutions of higher education in 25 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and special administrative regions, including Hebei, Henan, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Jilin, Shanxi, Shandong, Shaanxi, Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Yunnan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Chongqing, Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Inner Mongolia, Macao and so on. More than 500 teams from 148 higher education institutions in 25 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and special administrative regions participated in the competition. After expert evaluation, 258 teams from 130 institutions were selected as finalists for the China Regional Selection Competition.
This year's competition was extremely fierce due to the large number of institutions and participants. The finals also invited a more powerful lineup of judges, who not only have rich practical experience, have more than ten years or even decades of research in brand-related fields, but are also senior experts in the industry. They are Cui Riming, member of the CCPIT Expert Committee and Secretary General of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Economics and Trade Professions in Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education, Ren Lizhong, Director of the Global Branding and Marketing Research Center of National Taiwan University, Liao Jia, General Manager of Porky.com Yunnan, Luo Xi, Founder of Rossibel Ads in Kunming, and Xiao Jingfeng, Director of Chengdu's Mainline Culture and Performance Department. In the end, after a fierce competition, the "FuFrog Smartphone Holder Brand Plan" from Beijing Second Foreign Language Institute, the "Yingchao Hot Sauce Brand Plan" from Texas Vocational College of Technology, and the "Dexun Sunshine Youth Sports Club Brand Plan" from Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education and Technology were awarded the champion, the first runner-up and the second runner-up of the competition respectively.
In the award ceremony, the elite judges summarized and commented on the competition, while Zeng Yafei, president of CCPIT Business Industry Branch, Li Huasheng, director of Kunming Expo Affairs Bureau, Zhao Bin, deputy director of Kunming Expo Affairs Bureau, Yuan Weicheng, chairman of the Global Chinese Marketing Federation (GCMF)/Singapore Marketing Association, and Ma Lijun, deputy secretary-general and director of the secretariat of the China Association for the Promotion of Business Culture Research, Li Aixi, General Manager of Kunming Yunan Huidu Hotel, Zhang Dujuan, Deputy General Manager of Kunming Yunan Huidu Hotel, Ashraf Bin Taj, Chairman of Bangladesh Marketing Association, Liu Jiehui, Professor of Singapore Management University, Guo Yibin, General Manager of ICC Academy, and Peng Dawei, Sales Manager of ICC Academy attended the ceremony to present honors to the outstanding participants.
